I'm going to just continue with my fetish series. But this times, it's like a mini series within my fetish series. This is what I actually showed at the open studio here at college. It's a series of gagging photos, but show in a mugshot way - which is what I essentially named the series: "Mug Shots." They were shown in a grid-like fashion all next to each other. I did some event photographs there and sometimes would stop to see what people would say about my work. Popular words were "creepy" and "disturbing" but I believe it to be successful.
One thing it did was make people actually -stop- and talk about the work, which I find very important. I noticed that people would just walk quickly while viewing most of the art work, which is a shame, but I was excited to see many people stop and converse about these photographs. I believe it evoked an emotion.
These are the ones I showed but later on added 4 more photos to the set, which I will present later.
